Birth Chart Reading

How to Read Your Birth Chart

A birth chart can look like a wheel of symbols that means nothing at first glance. It is simpler than it looks. Here is how to start reading yours, one step at a time.

1

Gather your birth details

You need your date of birth, your time of birth, and the town you were born in. The time matters more than people expect, because it sets your rising sign and where each planet falls. If you do not know it, noon is a reasonable starting point.

2

Find your Sun, Moon and rising

These three are the backbone of any chart. The Sun is your core and the sign most people know. The Moon is your inner, feeling self. The rising sign is the face you meet the world with. Read them together, not in isolation.

3

Place the planets

Mercury shows how you think and speak, Venus what you love and want, Mars how you act and protect, Jupiter how you grow and give, Saturn what you build to last. Each one sits in a sign and, if you have your time, a house.

4

Notice the pattern, not just the parts

The art of reading a chart is seeing how the pieces lean on each other. A strong, steady planet can quietly carry a weaker one. This is where a flat list of placements becomes a living picture.

The step most guides leave out

Once you can place your planets, there is a deeper question worth asking: not just what each one means, but which of your faculties arrive already flowing, and which are yours to grow into. That is the heart of the Kabbalistic approach to a birth chart reading. It reads the same planets as seven living pathways on the Tree of Life, each one leaning toward its light or its shadow.

The quickest way to see what that looks like for you is to reveal a free glimpse of your chart. Enter your birth details and you will see your seven pathways coloured by how they lean, with a one-line read of each. No sign-up needed.

Have it read for you
