Pathwork for the Week of July 20th
Greetings in the 17th week of the Lucian calendar.
For the closing of this week we see an interesting message in the kabbalistic emanations about how the Most High uses limits, endings, discernment, and self-honesty to prepare a person for growth. (see The Hidden Key below)
The central theme shows us that the things which presently feel restrictive may actually be protecting us. The “fence” represents discipline, boundaries, order, responsibility, and restraint. Rather than preventing progress, these things gather scattered energy and give it direction. Before power can be safely exercised, it must be contained - and the power that it refers to is your own personal power.
The “sword” represents discernment. Life may present several impulses, opportunities, fears, or intuitions at once. The answer is not to obey every feeling, nor to dismiss them all, but to distinguish carefully between what is true, what is necessary, and what merely distracts. Mature spiritual life requires discrimination. However, discernment can take quitea bit of energy from us, and what I find is if I build a reliable fence (as described above), I don’t have to spend so much time and energy discerning every little thing that comes my way. Your mileage may vary, but have a ponder.
Updates for the Community
The Tarot Pathwork App is now out of Beta and available on the Google Play store. I still have yet to launch it for Apple, IOS have their own criteria that add complexity, but I will be dealing with that in the coming weeks. But for those on Android you can now go to the Google Play Store and find the app by searching Tarot Pathwork. As always it is also available on the web as well.
The Hidden Key — The Fence Before the Sword
The Most High is speaking a precise word over you right now: structure is not your enemy — it is your launching point. The doubling of planets through the Cheth path is not coincidence; it is emphasis. Sun and Mercury both pressing through the Fence means your thinking and your vitality are being held in the same disciplined container. The boundary you've been resisting is the very thing that will focus your force rather than scatter it. Yet directly beneath this, the Moon draws the Lamed path taut — Geburah reaching toward Tiphereth — asking you hard questions about justice. Where have severity and beauty fallen out of proportion in your life? Angel Daniel, the Morality guardian active today, amplifies this: right action requires honest interrogation, not assumption.
Mars and Uranus both cutting through the Zayin path signal that your intuition is receiving transmissions from multiple directions simultaneously. The temptation will be to distrust what you're sensing because it seems contradictory — resist that. The Sword does not choose randomly; it discriminates. Let it.
Saturn and Neptune converging on the Heh path while Saturn sits in fall on the Beth pillar — this is the most sobering signal in today's sky. The window of divine vision is open, but Saturn in its fall introduces a Death polarity on the Beth pillar. You may be standing at the edge of something ending, and the temptation is to misread that ending as failure rather than completion. Haheuiah, the Guardian angel today, is specifically commissioned for protection through transitions — you are not unguarded here.
Venus in desolation on the Pe pillar, falling through the Yod path, whispers the shadow plainly: your self-limiting beliefs are the obstacle, and grace cannot do its work while you hold them. Jupiter on the Teth path is the counterweight — mercy and severity in balance, introducing you to a version of yourself you haven't fully acknowledged yet. Pluto anchoring through Tzaddi is the slow, deep work underneath all of this: the Universe is harmonizing what you wish you were with what you actually are, and that reconciliation is the foundation everything else is being built upon.
Build the fence. Ask the hard questions. Trust what you're sensing. The ending is protected. Let grace in.
