Building a life that can hold who you already are
Greetings in the 22nd week of the Sacred calendar
The Deeper Teaching
If you followed the emanations this past week on the Tarot Pathwork site, or if you are using the app for the personalized emanations, you will have noticed a theme of "the other self". The week began with learning to recognizing your own needs, even the ones you’ve been ignoring, and finally ended on forging them into existence. It’s the last bit that most folks struggle with.
It’s saying, what already exists in your mind and your heart now needs a sustainable way for it to come into fruition in your life.
So if there is something you have been working on, or towards, the emanations are saying you need to think about what boundaries you need, methodology, disciplined practice, what actual supplies will be involved, and perhaps even your willingness to occupy the role implied by the work. Because some people envision having something in their life - without ever changing themselves. It just doesn’t work that way.
There is another repeated tension running through all three: Desire vs. fear/security.
Every emanation says some version of your desire is legitimate and creative power is available, while simultaneously warning against something that keeps you small:
hardening against change, forcing something to happen without structure; familiar limitations, material security, intellectual pride, and scattered desire.
So this other self isn’t simply a more successful you, or a more spiritual you, or even a different role you play. Its about integrating all of these, not just one side.
The version of you that no longer has a competing biography or side-hustle eating up part of your day. Doing this will change the way you are open to receive all the energy from God’s Grace.
So if we reduced all three emanations to one sentence, you are being asked to construct a life capable of containing who you already are.
Finding Your Path
If there is something you have been trying to do, and you never seem to be able to just get started. Take the time to figure out what the obstacles are. Are they internal, such as emotions, beliefs, thoughts? Or are they external - people, places or things? Start a journal, or follow along in the tarot pathwork app. If everything is working out for you, don’t forget to reflect on why things are good. It lets the universe know you are paying attention.
