What you love flourishes. Your wanting builds things up, and the people and places you are drawn to become richer for your attention. Love, for you, is creative. When you move toward something you desire, your world tends to bloom rather than empty, and you leave things warmer and fuller than you found them.
What you love seems to wither. Your longing, however sincere, tends to consume rather than nourish, and the things you reach for can end up stripped or emptied. Closeness arrives with a kind of hunger that wears down what it touches. It hurts, because the love is genuine, and yet it keeps leaving a kind of emptiness behind it.

The path itself (which two sephiroth it joins) is identical in both systems. Only the planet and card differ, and this is one of the seven letters the Golden Dawn reassigned.
